I specialise in working with those who have experienced a traumatic event or series of events. At some point in our lives, we can face experiences or maybe have subjected to ongoing or multiple events that have impacted our ability to cope and can leave us with an overwhelming sense of hopelessness.
We will work on a phased approach to develop post-traumatic growth and resilience and it will help you to develop a better understanding of yourself, the world around you, and how you can build that brighter and positive future.
I recognise that one size does not fit all, and we will work together to consider the right approaches, techniques and processes for you, work at a pace that works for you, and help you put effective strategies in place to deal with the feelings of depression and anxiety that often accompany trauma.
My special interests are working with issues around confidence and self-esteem, sometimes struggles around these issues mean you can feel isolated, unappreciated, and unheard. In our sessions, you can explore why you experience these feelings, and I can help you find your inner voice so you can start to lead the life you want. Honouring and valuing your uniqueness and finding your place in the world.
